What does a cabin here usually cost?

Dahlonega has a real town square, vineyards in the hills and the national forest behind it, and the price follows which of those you want to be near. Homes close to the square trade differently from a cabin out toward the falls. Tell me which Dahlonega you're after and I'll send the sales that fit.

Do cabins here rent well?

The wineries and the square keep people coming on weekends, and a cabin near either does well. Lumpkin County has its own short-term rental rules, so before we count on income I find out what a particular property is allowed to do.

What should I know about mountain roads?

Out toward the forest the roads narrow and climb fast. Drive them in the rain, ask who maintains the gravel, and check how long the drive to the square really is at the hour you'd be making it.
